Culworth Road, Chipping Warden
We recently constructed a 3500 sq ft house in Chipping Warden. The site originally had a run down 1930's bungalow on it which has been demolished and a new 2 story house was constructed in its place. There were a number of planning issues that the Architect successfully resolved, mainly to do with the height of the house and its adjacent properties. This in turn led to a number of engineering and build ability issues that we successfully resolved with the Client having a major say in the decision making, as we involved them fully in the design and construction of the house.
The house comprises traditional construction, steel beams and a cut roof covered in natural slate, under floor heating, high specification finishes and a landscaped garden to the rear.
